MANAGING PARTNER

Oleg Dobronravov, CFA

I have been in financial industry since October 1992, when I started my traineeship with Pierson Heldring & Pierson N.V., a renowned Dutch bank. In 1993, after graduation from Hanze Hogeschool in Groningen, the Netherlands I got a position of Junior Account Manager in MeesPierson N.V., which roots go back to 1720. That bank had a rich history such as financing Louisiana sale from Napoleon to USA. In 1998, Fortis Bank took over and I continued my carrier as a senior banker, managing 35 country lines and about 250 bank relationships.

It is Dutch banking culture that made me a merchant banker after all. From 1999 to 2001 I did pass three exams of CFA institute and obtained a well-respected CFA designation.

In 2003 I took a senior position at HSBC, heading corporate banking business in CIS. Then I decided to start a new project, which I have been doing for 19 years. It is Westland Finance.

Vladimir Shulmeister, PhD

My primary university and post graduate education had been in the fields of science. I switched to a financial career in 1998, having joined MeesPierson N.V. in Amsterdam I was involved in the trade finance sector and simultaneously had been obtaining the financial education. Later on I moved into a project of adopting Basel standards. After having moved to the London office I was able to obtain great experience in the fields of syndication and structured finance.

From 2003 I was doing financial consulting in my firm “ComFi Solutions”, from 2003 to 2005 I was a CFO of the largest retail seller in Ukraine Foxtrot. After 2009 in was engaged in business development as an entrepreneur and had started taking part in the Westland Finance projects.

Yulia Byus, LLM

Vladimir Novikov, PhD

I graduated from a top-notch Baumann Technical University, which gave me a good technical and systemic foundation. My first career step was a world renown SAP company. Thereafter, I senior position in various midsize companies. Eventually, I gained experience and skills to take on top roles in companies in the construction, logistics covering business development and ERP. After relocating to Cyprus.

I had a challenging and interesting executive role within a big developer AVG Group and some other companies. Now, I am happy to apply my skills and experience for various business development projects of Westland Finance.
